The license plate camera is installed on the rear of a car where the license plate is put on. Therefore, the power supply of the camera must be connected to the power supply of the backlight. When you reverse the car, the backup camera will start to work automatically (When the LCD display is showing other content, it will also give priority to displaying the reversing image). If the camera is connected the other power supplies, the camera will always be powered up or in working state, causing the 7 LED lights to stay on or the LCD display does not display image.
Note:
1. This license plate frame backup camera is wired to the on-board display, not Bluetooth connection and wireless connection, which requires wiring in the car.
2. This backup camera contains a camera lens, 7 LED lights and 1 photosensitive resistor. When the night falls or the ambience brightness is low, the photosensitive resistor will be activated and the 7 LED lights will turn on.
- This camera only supports NTSC video system, so please make sure your monitor supports NTSC video system.
- During installation, please connect the power cable of the backup camera to the harness wires that connect to the backup light on the tail light assembly.
- (Please note that the red wire end is positive, while the black one is negative). And connect the RCA output end to the car monitor.
- The camera switch is controlled by the reverse gear shift.
- Please take care of the sealing to prevent water leakage when installation.
